McChord Air Museum Outside Static Displays
For those of us who are military buffs, being able to teach on military bases are great opportunities to explore military museums. During my off time I was able to get a few photos of the old war birds to post along with the extrication photos. If you would like more information on the museum clink on our link for the official McChord Air Museum Website: McChord Air Museum Website

Having flown in the seventies on the Navy P-2 and P-3 sub-hunters I have an attraction for the older prop planes. If you see me strolling through a base museums don't hesitate to stop and tell me about your favorite war bird.

If you go to the McChord Air Museum or visit their website you'll find the names to the planes in the following photos.

I think my dad who was in the 82nd AA in WWII flew in these. As I recall he called it the "flying box car," any buffs know for sure?
